nano133

Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Pugs, LLC for the use of nano133.com. Please read them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Who we are, and this agreement

nano133.com (the "site") is run by Pugs, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and the rules shown with a feature (for example the feedback rules and rewards) together make up the agreement. When you use the site, you accept them.

Our postal address:

2. A demo and educational site

The site shows what the Nano (XNO) network can do: live views of the network, lessons, an arcade, and working samples of Nano payments. Many samples are demos. Some creators, products and videos are fictional, and the site says so where they appear. The site may change, pause or remove any feature at any time.

nano133.com is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Nano Foundation or any Nano developer. "Nano" and "XNO" name the network and its currency; any trademarks belong to their owners.

3. No financial or investment advice

Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Prices, charts and lessons are for information and education only. We do not recommend that you buy, sell or hold any cryptocurrency. Make your own decisions, and talk to a qualified adviser if you need advice.

4. Who may use the site

5. Nano, wallets and their risks

6. Payments on the site

Payments on the site are in Nano. Most features ask you to pay a unique amount to the site's checkout address (the "till"). The till holds a payment only until it is matched to what you paid for. Then the till sends it on to the payee that the checkout names (for most features, the arcade wallet of Pugs, LLC), or back to you. We do not hold your funds beyond this short step, and we offer no account balance. Two cases take longer: an arcade coin can wait about 6 hours before it returns, and an idea fee is held in our rewards wallet until we decide the idea, and is then returned or kept as section 7 says.

The price of each feature today:

Bug reports, security reports, the Token Press and free play are free. Kanban bounties pass no money through the site: the person who posts a bounty pays the person who does the work directly, and we are not a party to that deal.

7. Rules for some features

Arcade tokens, tickets and prizes

Prizes are cosmetic digital collectibles (3D models), traded at the prize counter for tickets. They change how things look on nano133.com and give no advantage in any game. In a paid round, you earn tickets for each minute you play, more for a better score, up to a limit for each round and for each day, by the same rule for every player. Our server measures the play time itself. Most rounds mix your skill with chance: a round's random parts can make it easier or harder, can change the highest score it allows, and can change how long it lasts (in Reaction, how long you wait for each light), so they can change how many tickets the round earns. The prize counter has no chance: you get the prize you pick. A paid round is the same price whether you win or not. In Fair Claw, each grab of a paid round that takes no prize adds a ball to your account, up to 5 balls. 5 balls give the account 1 token, at most 1 on each day (UTC), with a paid round. A free round and a round that you eject or leave add none; neither does a round on a page that is older than the game's present version (load the page again). Prizes, tickets and tokens have no cash value. You cannot sell them, give them to another person, or exchange them, on nano133.com or anywhere else, for money, cryptocurrency or anything of value. The only move the site allows is from this browser's purse to the address you sign in with. We may change how many you earn, or end them.

Each paid or token round's random parts are fixed before it starts, so that nobody can pick them, and you can check it yourself. Our server works out the score of every paid round itself, from your inputs: it plays the round again, or, in Reaction, checks each of your times. What the random parts decide in each game is listed at how rounds stay fair.

Nano Island rounds

A Nano Island round costs 2¢, paid in Nano from your purse or your wallet. A token cannot pay it. It buys one run of the game that our server plays again and scores, and a place for that score on the island board of that game, level and step (a Heat in Coin Bees, a Pace in Banano, a Belt in Ananos, an apron in Quorum Kitchen): the all-time board and this week's board (UTC, Monday to Sunday). Each board keeps your best score only. A paid round is the same price whether you win or not. In Quorum Kitchen a paid round is one Day: our server holds the Day and plays each of your moves, so the page never knows the Day's hidden cards, likes or oven. Today Coin Bees, Banano, Ananos and Quorum Kitchen have paid rounds.

A Nano Island round gives no tickets, no prizes, no tokens, no credit in the arcade's Daily Run or challenges, and no money or other reward. Free play stays free; its bests and stars stay in your browser. As in the arcade, the round's random parts are fixed before it starts, our server works out the score from your inputs, and a coin that starts no round goes back to you (section 6).

A paid Ananos run that shows clear signs of a bot or a script (for example, many cuts sooner than a person can react) can be flagged for a person on our team to review. A flag is not a penalty: by itself it does not change your score, your place on a board or your account. For the review we keep that run's numbers and its record of inputs for 30 days (see the Privacy Policy). Bots and scripts are not allowed (section 9).

Until a Nano Island round starts, you can eject its coin and get it back at once; a coin that starts no round goes back by itself after 6 hours. When the round starts, the coin is used. If you leave a started round (you close the game or the page, or you press Leave), the round ends with no score, and the coin is not returned. A started round must be finished within its game's time limit, counted by our server from the start: 10 minutes for Coin Bees, 15 minutes for Ananos and 30 minutes for Banano. A paid Quorum Kitchen Day must end within 45 minutes of its start. A Day not finished by then does not count, and its coin is not returned. A hidden tab, a locked phone or a lost connection does not stop this clock. A paid Quorum Kitchen Day is different in one way: closing or reloading the page does not end it. It stays open until it ends or its 45 minutes pass, and you can come back to it in the same browser tab (not in another tab or on another device). If you end it with Leave and confirm, it ends with no score, and the coin is not returned. A round that is not finished in time gets no score, and the coin is not returned. The score is the one our server gets when it plays your round again from your inputs; the score that your page shows does not count. A late or extra payment comes back by itself, usually after about 2 hours, within the limits in section 6.

Coin Run

Coin Run, on the page Nano for Three.js games, is a free demo and not an arcade game. A run of all 10 coins lets you make the faucet's claim there. It is the same claim that the faucet gives with no game: the same amount and the same rules and limits, one time for a wallet. A win adds no Nano, and the game has no prize of its own. When the faucet gives nothing, a run gives nothing.

Samples and fictional content

The Fans creators, the Glimmer video and its ad, and other samples are fictional. A payment to them is a real payment for a demo of how such payments work. It buys no real product.

Cross-posting

Where it is enabled, you can connect a Bluesky or Mastodon account to post from the site. You stay responsible for what you post, and the other service's own terms apply to it. You can disconnect at any time.

Play together

Play together is free play for two players on their own phones. Play together is for ages 13 and up; it asks for no age. It needs no sign-in. If you are signed in you can play under your username; the other player then sees it and can open your player card. It gives no tickets, no prizes and no place on a board, and it stores no result. To join a game you need its code; share the code only with people you want in the game. A game is private unless both players make it public; anybody can watch a public game. The acceptable-use rules in section 9 apply to the name you type. A game ends when its players leave, and after 3 hours at the latest.

8. Your content

You are responsible for what you put on the site: names, tags, tiles, ideas, reports, screenshots, posts and lines. You keep any rights you have in it. You give us a license to store, show and share it as the feature needs (for example on the leaderboard, the idea board or The Wall). You promise that you have the right to share it.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

What we may do

If you break these terms, or we reasonably believe you did, we may, without notice:

10. Other services and links

The site uses other services (named in our Privacy Policy) and links to other sites and wallets. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for them. Their own terms apply when you use them.

11. Our content

The site's design, text, art, games and code belong to Pugs, LLC or its licensors, except where a page names another license (for example the open-source nano133 Kit). You may use the site for your own personal use. You may not copy or sell it without our permission.

12. Disclaimer

13. Limitation of liability

Some places do not allow some of these limits. There, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Pugs, LLC and its owners, members, employees and agents against any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable lawyers' fees) that comes from your content, your use of the site, or your breach of these terms or of the law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We change the date at the top when we do. For a change that matters, we give notice on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the law or a security need requires a faster change. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, you accept it.

16. Ending

You may stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or end the site, a feature, or your access, at any time. The sections on payments that are on their way, your content license to us, acceptable use, the disclaimer, liability, indemnity and the governing law continue after the end.

17. Governing law

The laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, govern these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site or these terms is heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

18. General

If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part at once, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over the site. These terms are the whole agreement about the site.
